are the first institution in this part of the
country to conceive and execute the idea of Intensive
Digestive Care Unit which comprises of Liver Care and
Pancreatic Care Divisions. This facility tunes and gears
up the entire staff to focus their efforts in managing
– Hepatic coma, G.I.Bleed, fulminant hepatic failure,
Necrotising Pancreatitis and abdominal sepsis. This
single minded devotion makes us to excel in yielding
high success rates in these otherwise formidable
situations. Apart from specific facilities, IDCU has
basic equipment like Ventilators, Hemodialyser, Cardiac
Monitor, Defibrillator, Pulse oxymeter, centralized
oxygen and suction system and portable x-ray unit.
