Innovative techniques in Endoscopy, Chronic Hepatitis, Portal Hypertension, Chronic pancreatitis, Liver Transplantation are our areas of interest. Two Ph.D. students affiliated to a city university (Bharathiar University) are attached 
with us part-time to conduct various research activities. We are one of the recognized
centres for multi-centric trial in Cisapride as a maintenance therapy in 
reflux esophagitis and UDCA (Urso Deoxy Cholic Acid) in acute viral Hepatitis.
